Nursing an Adopted Baby

Is that even possible? Nursing an adopted baby is not something that is commonly heard of, but it is possible. Some women only partially breastfeed or supplement at the breast with a lactation device. Other women go on to completely breastfeed. Of course, this all depends on each special adoptive situation. Some adopted babies will never take to the breast. If breastfeeding your adopted baby isn't for you or your baby isn't taking to the breast, just know that being a good parent and giving love is what it's all about! Nursing an adopted baby can be a very rewarding experience but it takes a lot of effort. Below are some links to help you get started.
